Day 1: Pick up Bagdogra Airport, transfer Phuentsholing, Night stay at Jaygaon

Phuenstholing : The gateway of the land of thunder dragons, Phuentsholing is often regarded as the abode of kings and queens of the Himalayan Kingdom. Time moves at a slow pace here and the simplicity of the inhabitants complements the serenity of nature. At an altitude of only 300 meters, this commercial center in Bhutan lies adjacent to Indian town Jaigaon on the Himalayan foothills. There are a number of places to visit in Phuentsholing where you can catch a glimpse of the diversity of Bhutanese, Nepalese and Indian cultures.
The frontier town serving as the corridor to Sikkim, West Bengal and Assam is certainly worth a visit when you are exploring Bhutan. Here are the places to visit in Phuentsholing:

Day 2: Tranfer Thimphu, via Kharbandi Gumba & Natural water falls sight seeing night stay at Thimphu

Day 4: Punakha & Dochula sight seeing, Transfer Paro over night stay at Paro

It is also fertile as the two rivers – Po Chhu and Mo Chhu converge here in the Punakha Valley making it an excellent terrain for rice cultivation. Day 5: Transfer Bumthang, via Trongsa Dzong Bird’s eye viewpoint, over Night stay at Bumthang

Home to four beautiful mountain valleys and an array of ancient monasteries and temples, Bumthang takes its place as the most historic of all districts in Bhutan. Considered to be the spiritual centre of the Himalayan Kingdom, Bumthang is a beautiful place to visit if one has a keen interest in religion, spirituality and history.

Directly translating to “Beautiful Field”, the region gets its name from JambayLhakhang. Spanning over 4500m it is known to be the religious heartland of the kingdom with several old monasteries and Buddhist temples.
Bumthang is one among the twenty districts (Dzongkhangs) comprising of four valleys of Ura, Chumey, Tang and Choekhor. Endowed with the most picturesque views of the Ura La Pass, rhododendron forests surround the valley at a slightly higher altitude

Phobjikha Valley (Gangtey)

Against the backdrop of western slopes of the Black Mountains in WangduePhodrang, lies the bowl-shaped Phobjikha valley that offers breathtaking views of vast expanses of green fields. It is home to the endangered black-necked crane that migrates to this area during winters. Phobjikha valley also called Gangtey, is one of the few glacial valleys in the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Bordering the JigmeSingyeWangchuck National Park, the valley is located at an altitude of 3000m above sea level, and hence comparatively cooler. It boasts being the winter home to black-necked cranes that fly from Tibet to escape the harsh winter and also one of the most prominent conservative sites of Bhutan. Relatively untouched by outsiders, the use of electricity in the valley began only a few years ago.

Day 8: Phubjika to Paro enjoying natural view on the way, over night stay at Paro

Paro

Paro is a small town situated in the Paro Valley of Bhutan. It is one of the most fertile as well as historic valley of Bhutan which is the widest in the Kingdom. It is home to 155 temples and monasteries dating back to the 14th century and also Bhutan’s sole international airport. The Paro Airport is the largest International Airport of Bhutan and has been one of the prime locations for numerous tourist visit. It is known to be the most challenging airport to land on.

Day 9: Paro Local sight seeing, over night stay at Paro

Day 10: Hike Tiger’s nest, evening stroll through the local market of Paroover Night stay at Paro

Tiger’s nest is known for the trek that has been carried on for years. With a total distance of 6.4 kms, the trek offers mesmerising views of the Paro Valley. The mystery of how it was constructed in such conditions still amazes people. It is one of the few sites in Bhutan which was visited by Guru Rinpoche, who is also referred to as ‘Second Buddha

Day 11: Tranfer you to Phunetsholing enjoying scenic beauty of Bhutan, over night stay at Phunetsholing

We drop you to Phuentsholing enjoying the scenic beauty of Bhutan , later drop you at Hotel were you enjoy leisure and in the evening stroll ( self ) through the local market of Phuentsholing .

Day 12: Drop Bagdogra Airport & Bid bye

Early morning we drive towards Bagdogra airport taking lots of sweet memories of the land of Happiness , Bhutan & promising to visit the kingdom once again in life time . On the way we take view of natural water falls & scenic beauty of Bhutan . We drop you at the station & bid you bye .
